AIMS:
The project, it is aimed to;
-to raise awareness about digital safety
-encourage students to learn key competencies in digital education.
-to help students gain consciousness about digital well-being.
-to support students to use key competencies in the new digital era.
-to enable students to use the web tools effectively within the guidelines of e-safety
-to help students improve their intercultural communicative skills by using their foreign languages.
MAIN TARGETS:
-Evaluation of our contribution to digital life by means of a digital footprint survey.
-Analysis of the digital footprint surveys within the aspects of its reasons and results.
-Learning key competencies in digital World and how to blend them with the teaching process.
-Learning digital literacy.
-Learning assets of digital wellbeing.
STUDY PROCESS:
Technology must be used for education to meet the learning needs of changing generation. Developing digital skills and competencies is one of the prior areas specified by the European Commission‘s Digital Competence Framework. We'd like to prepare our schools’ staff and students for digital transformation.
We’d like to learn innovative teaching methods with digital devices and materials, and integrate them into the school’s curriculum. Our students need to explore constantly developing technologies and benefit from digital devices, and platforms. Furthermore, Our students and teachers will improve their language skills&realize cultural differences.
As a coordinator school, Emel Mustafa Uşaklı Anatolian High School, we prepared an Erasmus Project on key competencies in digital education with Lithuania and Spain. It was approved. For the sake of disseminating our studies and learning from each other,we will study the theme with our Erasmus Project partners and other E-twinning schools in this platform.
We will form a WhatsApp group to communicate easily about the Project process. After we have arranged our Project pages, we will have teachers meeting with our Project teachers and debate the Project process and task distribution.
